Gyldearn German Wirehaired Pointers

This liver and white ticked boy is one we have just rescued, having a very strong hunt drive, as one would expect from a working line, he was a bit 'raw' and needing steadying, he is getting there at an alarming rate proving the intelligence of the breed when handled correctly.                                                                                Showing great natural talent for working and having a really soft mouth as we have found in retrieval training, hunts for the blind retrieves methodically.                                                                                   Only sixteen months old and un-docked he has a bold extrovert temperament but very gentle all the same, loves washing the face of my two year old!!!!.                                                                            Because of his speed covering ground he may be the one I take to Field Trial in the close season.                                                   Will post pictures once he has a bit more body on him, he really is a cracking dog.
